Environmental Responsibility — Go Green With Bergin

Bergin Auto Body follows a conscientious strategy when it comes to protecting the environment. From start to finish, environmental considerations play an important part in our repair process.

Emphasizing Repair

Rather than replacing auto parts with new ones, we strive to fix the old part, often restoring parts to look like new. For example:

Paintless Dent Repair—Traditional dent repairs use polyester resin mixed with an organic peroxide (often referred to by the brand name “Bondo”) to fill a dent, which then needs to be repainted. Bergin’s technicians can repair most dents by simply pushing them out with specialized tools. Depending on the severity of the dent, this process usually requires neither Bondo nor paint.

The innovative and eco-friendly methods we use for recycling products help keep our environment safe. We make a concentrated effort to minimize waste material and recycle potentially hazardous products, including:

Waste paint, paint solvents, used oil, antifreeze, A/C refrigerant and radiators
Scrap metal, sheet metal, aluminum and wheels
Cardboard, paper, packaging, batteries, repairable plastics and other office waste

Proud to be a Small Quantity Generator!

Bergin Auto Body is also proud to be a Small Quantity Generator (SQG) business. A business that generates more than 100 kilograms (220 pounds) but less than 1000 kilograms (2200 pounds) of hazardous waste per month is a Small Quantity Generator.
